STRIVE: Our PSHE Curriculum

At St Teresa’s, our PSHE curriculum is known as STRIVE, which stands for Self, Together, Relationships, Identity, Values, and Enrich. Through STRIVE, children develop the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become well-rounded, compassionate citizens—ready to be witnesses to the world.

At the heart of our curriculum lies the 10:10 Scheme of Work, a spiral curriculum rooted in our Catholic faith. It is enriched with Scripture, stories, and prayer, helping pupils to grow in both faith and character as they progress through the school.

Beyond the 10:10 modules, pupils at St Teresa’s take part in a wide range of enriching experiences, including Mental Health projects, Diversity Days, and Aspirations Week. These opportunities nurture each child’s sense of virtue, empathy, and self-awareness, empowering them to care deeply for themselves, others, and the world around them.
