The Jubilee Year of Hope

At St Teresa's we joyfully embraces the Jubilee Year of Hope, seeing it as a sacred opportunity to renew our faith, deepen our trust in God’s promises, and inspire our community with the light of Christ. Guided by Gospel values, we commit to nurturing a spirit of hope in every child—encouraging kindness, resilience, and a belief in the goodness of the future. Through prayer, learning, and acts of service, we will journey together, celebrating God’s love and sharing the message of hope with our families, parish, and the wider world.

Our Jubilee Door

Visitors to our school are welcomed through our Jubilee Door, which reminds them that we are all on a journey as pilgrims of hope.

Big Lent Walk

We were sponsored by our friends and family to take part in a whole school 'Big Lent Walk' to raise money for CAFOD. We each walked 3km around King George Playing Field, walking as a whole school with our friends. We made it our missing to not only walk the 200km collectively, but actually walk over 600km during Lent. We raised over £300 for CAFOD and did a little thing to make a big difference.

Visiting the Icon

The ICON toured to our parish church and each class visited the ICON and spent some time exploring it and reflecting on its messages. Back at school, each child produced a piece of work, whether that was a painting, description, poem or recount to share what visiting the ICON meant to them.
