Uniform

At St. Teresa’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery our children are proud to be members of our school. The uniform has been designed to be practical for our nursery children whilst reflecting the high standards at school. It is worn with pride at all times.

NURSERY UNIFORM

St Teresa’s jumper or cardigan with school logo

White polo shirt

Grey school style trousers/shorts/skirt or pinafore

Practical shoes. For safety, no open-toe shoes/sandals, high-heels, platforms, roller shoes or crocs

All items of clothing and footwear must be named and children should be encouraged at home and school to take care of their own property.

Children are asked to bring a pair of wellington boots into Nursery and they will remain in Nursery for the children to change into.

The Nursery is a learning environment for your children. It is a lively place with lots of different things to experience and to explore. Many of these are practical activities, which are often messy. These types of activities develop the early concepts and skills that are so important to a child’s early learning. We provide aprons and encourage their use but there are occasions when children, somehow, still manage to get messy! The outdoor classroom is a very popular place, and it provides many opportunities for children to develop and learn, children have daily access to outdoor provision.
