What’s Been Going On

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

Here at St Teresa’s, we want to support our children in growing and developing their whole and unique selves. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities that prepare our young people to enter the world as resilient, confident and assured members of society.

Our curriculum spans further than the classroom, and we are so proud to showcase here the plentiful examples of how our pupils demonstrate responsibility, respect and citizenship in and around our diverse and inclusive school community.

Joint Schools Concert in aid of Brentwood Catholic Children's Society

Two of our Year 5 pupils recently accompanied Mrs Maguire to St Thomas More’s primary school where they met with other children from across the deanery who took part in the BCCS Concert back in December. Collectively, the children were able to hand over a cheque to Bernadette Fisher, Director of BCCS - the Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society, for £3600!  She told us this is the biggest single donation the charity receives during the year, and she asked us to share their thanks with each of our school communities.

Age Well East - Competition Winners

Congratulations to the four winners of the Age Well East Competition who received their certificates and prizes today!

Liturgical Dance

A group of children visited St Joseph's this week for a Liturgical Dance day led by Mrs Francis.  They were amazing ambassadors for the school and, as you can see from the videos, they had the most amazing, spiritually enriching day.
