Prayer Life

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do at St Teresa's. It shapes our daily routines, brings our community together, and helps each child grow in faith and understanding of God's love. Our prayer life is rich and varied, offering opportunities for worship, reflection, celebration, and action throughout the week.

Each Monday begins with a Gospel Assembly, providing a clear focus for the week rooted in the Sunday Gospel. This sets the tone for our learning, behaviour, and spiritual reflection.

On Tuesdays, our Praise Assembly gives us the chance to come together in joyful song and thanksgiving, lifting our voices in worship.

Wednesdays are a time for stillness and reflection as each class leads or participates in a Class Celebration of the Word, helping pupils engage more deeply with Scripture and prayer in an age-appropriate way.

On Thursdays, we broaden our vision with a Global Assembly that links to Catholic Social Teaching, encouraging pupils to see their role in building a more just and compassionate world.

We end the week on Fridays with our Celebration Assembly, where we give thanks for the week gone by, share achievements, and recognise how we’ve lived out our Gospel values in word and action.

Together, these moments of prayer and worship form the rhythm of our school life, helping us to walk more closely with God and one another each day.
