The raw scores achieved in tests are converted to scaled scores. Scaled scores range from 80 – 120. A scaled score of 100 shows that the pupils has met the expected standard in the test. The higher the scaled score the better they did.

2016 Performance

Percentage of children at Good Level of Development 64.5%

This is a 14.8% drop since 2015 and a 25.5% drop since 2014.

It is also less than both the Essex and the National average.

However, 36.9% achieved an Average Point Score (APS) of 2 or more

in 2016 which is a 1.1% rise since 2015 and a 0.6% point rise since 2014.

APS is above both the Essex and the National average.
